Fundraising Opportunites & Player/Mascot Appearances
In 2011, the Mavericks will be offering 'Game Day Fundraisers' for non-profit organizations from Medicine Hat and surrounding area. Here's how it works. Your organization will receive it's own "GAME DAY". This provides your organization with the chance to set up a booth in the concourse, have your message read over our PA system (up to four messages) throughout a Mavericks game, and the ability to raise money by selling tickets to your GAME DAY. Once your organization and the Mavericks decide on your game day date you will be given tickets at a substantially reduced cost ($5). By selling the tickets at face value ($10) your organization nets a profit of $5 per ticket. It is a win-win for all. The Mavericks get new fans to come out and see what we are all about and your organization can raise money and receive exposure to your organization's message!!
So...a team of 15 that sells 20 tickets each can raise $1500 for your organization.
And don't worry, your organization is not left on the hook for the tickets you don't sell. Simply return what you don't sell.
This is a unique partnership that seems too simple to work but when you combine a great product (a Mavericks Baseball Game), team work (your organization and the Mavericks), and a great cause (Your Non-Profit organzation) it is recipe for success.

All donations requests must be made on company/ organization letterhead
Requests can be faxed to the Mavericks at 403-580-5828, or emailed to office@themavericks.ca. You can also mail your request to:

Please send all requests 3-4 weeks prior to the event. Please include the following information in your donation request letter:
Description of the event
Mission of the organization
Who will benefit from the donation
How the item will be used
Date, time and location of the event
Contact name, address, email and phone of the person requesting the donation
